Prix Diane de Hermes :Report & Photo Gallery 2005

The 2005 Prix Diane de Hermes took place on Sunday 12 June at Chantilly.

The setting was ideal; sunny and hot with a  gentle breeze nicely refreshing the big Chantilly crowds who came in numbers this year to witness a truly exciting race and enjoy the Fashion and Glamour of the 'French Ascot'. Although, there was talk of a battle between Wadawina (H.H. Aga Khan Horse) and Divine Proportions  (Niarchos family) , the race was won easily by number five Divine proportions ridden by C.P. Lemaire ( a lucky number for the trainer P. Bary: Blue Canari was number five when it won the Derby for him last year )  .Second was number 3 Argentina (Ecurie Wildenstein) ridden by Olivier Peslier & third was number 10 Paita (T.Yoshida).Below are some the photos of the day:
